How We Serve

Service is an integral part of what it means to be a UU. At UUCA there are many opportunities to serve both within the congregation and in our community at large. Our Justice Ministry program is our umbrella program that helps support the various justice committees that operate within UUCA. These groups help to educate, organize, and inspire our congregation to do the work for justice and equity in our community and beyond our walls.
As with most organizations, we rely on our volunteers to offer vital participation and support for our groups. As a member of UUCA, you are encouraged to donate your time, your talent, and your treasure. As a volunteer, you become an integral part of the operation of UUCA, you meet people with similar interests, and you help support our facility, our grounds and our committees.
There are a myriad of ways to become involved with UUCA. As a new member, you may choose to be a greeter during our Sunday worship service in order to connect more deeply with other congregants. Perhaps your passion for singing leads you to join our choir or your dedication to impacting young minds inspires you to volunteer in the RE program. Whatever your talents and passions, there is a volunteer opportunity within the UUCA that is right for you!
